Arthur Neal

Arthur Neal is a painter and printmaker who works somewhere between a figurative and a semi-abstract world and is an elected member of New English Art Club.

As Arthur says, “I engage with the formal problems that arise in the process of looking, in its broad sense, to attempt to make something that is a coherent painting . . . hopefully!” and he describes his working method as “prolonged, procrastinated messy chaos . . . just occasionally organised chaos.”

Arthur Neal exhibited in ‘Two Painters and a Potter‘ at Linden Hall Studio together with Charles Williams and William Plumptre. The exhibition ran from 4th September – 2nd October 2016.

He also showed in the New English Art Club Exhibition in April 2017.
