On Saturday June 24th – Zinovy Zinik, a novelist and broadcaster, whose latest novel Sounds Familiar was published last year, spoke about his conversations with Harold Chapman, his next-door neighbour in Deal. Literature, photography, Dream Machine and blindness, as it has been reflected in Zinik’s essay “Eyeless in Margate” recently published in The Times Literary Supplement.
It was a wonderful evening, thank you to all who attended. Thank you also to Harold Chapman, for showing us just how rich and beautiful reality really is.
These incredible photographs of the evening event were taken by photographer Tony Nandi.
