For the first two weeks of July, Linden Hall Studio was delighted to be hosting many events in association with the Deal Festival of Music and Arts. Here are a couple of our highlights!

Linden Hall Studio held a lecture as part of Deal Music & Arts , exploring the rhyme and reason of , the collector.
For centuries the English have collected paintings from Europe and beyond, just as they have with music. Collecting is in our DNA. Frances Fyfield has collected mainly British paintings, with a liking for the anonymous and art between the wars. She will talk about the nature of the collecting compulsion, the motives, and why the world divides between those who do, and those who don’t.
AN AUDIENCE WITH GRAHAM CLARKE
As part of the Deal Music & Arts , Graham Clarke, the artist behind the July exhibition at Linden Hall Studio ‘HERE & THERE, gave an entertaining and insightful talk into his life and works. Featuring some of his famous poetry, writing and abstract musical renditions.
