Monday 15th October, 10am – 5pm
Lunch and refreshments included, £65
Learning to see is at the art of drawing, it is the process of seeing made visible. Embracing the theme of this years international Big Draw festival you are encouraged to draw through play, to visually explore through a range of exercises, materials and processes, including printmaking. You will gain confidence whilst experimenting, combining techniques and materials to create playful responses.
Picasso’s now famous statement: ‘Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grow’s up’ is an invitation for you to probe the child within and challenge yourself to work in unfamiliar ways with an open mind and be prepared to see what happens.
Please bring along an interesting object and an interesting image.
