Precious Kent: Objects of Desire

Precious Kent is a group of independent jewellers and silversmiths who came together 13 years ago to support one another and to create exhibiting opportunities. The group has changed over the years with some members moving on and new ones joining, and it currently consists of eight makers. If exhibition space allows we invite guest exhibitors to join us which keeps our shows fresh and interesting. We are an eclectic group hailing from all over the world; Germany, Sweden, Ireland, Kenya, USA and UK. Each one of us has our own style and speciality, working in different metals and other materials, and using a broad range of stones, from very precious gems to objects found on the beach. This results in diverse styles and a wide price range, offering something for everyone. Whatever the materials used, our work is of the highest standard and many of the group have won awards for their work, their work is bought by collectors around the world, and many have exhibited at the Goldsmiths’ Fair in London. In April we will be holding a selling exhibition at the Linden Hall Studio in Deal, running from April 26th-28th inclusive. All the makers will be there for the duration so they will be available for conversations about their work, and to collaborate with clients about personal commissions and bespoke pieces.
