As our reflection series continues, this week we look at gallery favourite and friend – Arthur Neal.
Arthur Neal is a painter and printmaker who works somewhere between a figurative and a semi-abstract world and is an elected member of New English Art Club.
Arthur says, “I engage with the formal problems that arise in the process of looking, in its broad sense, to attempt to make something that is a coherent painting . . . hopefully!”
Whilst describing his working method as “prolonged, procrastinated messy chaos . . . just occasionally organised chaos.”

Arthur has exhibited at LHS within
