Drawing from Sculpture & Music
Artist in Residence Carol Goodchild offers drawing classes in a variety of media, featuring different subject matter and themes in the beautiful surroundings of the Linden Hall Studio.
Some basic materials (including paper) will be available but do bring your own if you prefer.
During our May exhibition - OVERLAP , which features the sculptures of Jeff Lowe, Carol Goodchild will lead a drawing class inspired by the exhibits and music. The afternoon will begin with a short demonstration.
This is a new departure and will allow for drawing from the stimulus in the gallery against the background of music.
Studies can be on any scale; large or small, single or many. Drawing from the windows (and perhaps including them) looking out at trees and the sky could be a choice.
